So the cub scouts have a dinner every year and it is called Blue & Gold. This is where the kids get "promoted" to the next level in scouts. They have a cake contest, and this is what Devin and Daddy came up with. Its a fire pit and smores cupcakes. They did not get a ribbon for it but Devin did get a honorable mention. He was very proud of this cake and I was proud of him for helping with it.

More Bluebonnets
OK as you can see I am trying to catch up on these pictures. We had a friend take these Bluebonnet pics this year and she did such a great job that I had everyone of them printed and I am just now (these are from 2009) trying to get the pages done. I guess better late than never huh?
Vermont - Fall 2002
Brian and I took a trip to Vermont in the fall of 2002. It was so beautiful with all the colors. Warm cider in the morning with cider donuts. A tour of Ben and Jerry's. You can see my style was starting to change a bit from my early days. It is fun to go back and look at all of this. The journals will help me remember years down the road the when and where of our trips together.
Polar Express - December 2006
These four pages are a perfect example of why I got into scrapbooking. To have this time documented. We had such a fun evening. The boys were 2 and 3. They got to eat a cookie, drink hot chocolate, hear The Polar Express read, ride a train and see Santa an his workshop when we arrived at our destination. When I see these four pages it brings every moment of that evening back.

Spring 2009 - Bluebonnets
Aren't I the busy one today? Just finished this page. Picture is a little fuzzy but not to bad. This was taken of my two little men in a patch of bluebonnets not far from our house. Caught them on a good day.
An early page
These two 12x12 pages are of my two boys. The oldest one was 15 months and the youngest one was 1 month old. My style sure has changed from then to now but I still love to pull out my books and totes and see not only how my style has changed but see how my two little men have grown.
First day, first post
Hi y'all. Today is the first day of my new blog. I'll be posting some of my scrapbooking stuff, how it was done, little tips and tricks I have learned and come across and just have some fun with this. I have been scrapbooking ever since I got pregnant with our first boy who is already seven. Time has flown by. I and my husband have created a little scrapbooking sanctuary for me that I always wish was bigger than it is. If I knew 10 years ago when I got married what I know now I would have better documented our life together with more photos so I could create some pages from our years together before children. Since children we have taken so many photos that sometimes it is overwhelming and there are too many choices.
