Pine Wood Derby

My 7 year old started Cub Scouts this year, yea I know just more to scrapbook :)  But I am loving all the exciting things the scouts do.
Here is a layout of Devin and his car.  He won 3rd place!  I am so excited for him. Spring even put an article in their paper about our pack!

Blue & Gold

So the cub scouts have a dinner every year and it is called Blue & Gold.  This is where the kids get "promoted" to the next level in scouts.  They have a cake contest, and this is what Devin and Daddy came up with.  Its a fire pit and smores cupcakes.  They did not get a ribbon for it but Devin did get a honorable mention. He was very proud of this cake and I was proud of him for helping with it.
